Tango is Hard!

We spent the day on foot exploring the area near our Tango Lessons: Puerryudon street. Our classes were ar Mora Godoy Tango Escuela. Viva Tango! Mora Godoy is one of the best Tango dancers in BA. Her dance studio is on a the 2nd floor of this beautiful classical european building with 12 foot ceilings, wood panelling and many french doors leading to balconies. It is truely a romantic place to be dancing the Tango!

Talk about a small world. When we walked into the studio we saw that our instructors were the dancers that we had seen perform the night before! Just another strange coinsidence I guess.

The Tango is very difficult. The classes and students only spoke Spanish. One of the instructors spoke some English, but they did not give us as much tranlation as we needed. Also, our instructors have the students always alternating partners, adding to the difficulty. The classes were priced right, 5 lessons for 50 pesos for each person. We have a lot of work ahead of us.
